Recklessly
Abandoned
To Christ
We’re laying down our lives for the One we adore,
And we’re not ashamed to wear on our bodies the marks he wore. Searching
through a foreign land for someone who really cares.
Like patriots we take a stand, we walk in faith and live by prayer.
Persecuted for a passion that drives us to follow his steps. We feed on His
word and drink of His Spirit in all it’s immeasurable depths.
The blood of the King has paved a crimson road so clear for all to see.
How could we ever deny the One who has paid such a price to make us free?
Press us down, insult us, and deny us the comforts of today, but through all
these things we are too in love with the Master, not to obey.
Truth cannot cease to shout out the Love of the Ancient of Days, and the
evils in this world only more clearly reveal, the power of His amazing
grace.
Living to give our lives away, this is our call and our creed, to see the
truth given to every man, evangelism: the tool to plant eternal seed.
As faithful servants we count the cost, and have made up our minds to pay
the price,
There is no other life that we could desire, than one recklessly abandoned
to Christ. |
