Remember Me
The last breath stirs deep inside Words, long to be forgotten, never to return. The smile you say you love will fade. The sparkle will dwindle The life will blow away in the winds Of eternity
Remember me
You once laughed when I sang your name, You also cried on my shoulder in Times of pain The beauty you claim you see will Sure enough blow away, I will become dust
Remember me
You smiled big wonderful smiles and called me crazy You thought I was weird, but you loved it. You loved the fact I always smiled. The eternal lover calls me, “Soon my love”
Remember me
Those smiles- I gave them to you, momentary gifts Those laughs you had – A present from me to you A deep thought provoking conversation, The idea spoken, that you can be more – these Wonderful things were pieces of my life shared.
Remember me
I loved, I lived, I had fun. I cried, I begged, I fought, I bled I wanted, I desired, I needed, I screamed, I was not really sure, but confident
Remember me
I held her in my arms, a husband, I made love, I fathered, I cried for joy And for deep pain, I watched everything.
Remember me
I wrote, I sang, I read, I preached I danced, I bought you lunch, you Did the same for me I made you drinks, I kissed, I embraced, I loved, and it was sweet.
Remember me
You said that I could not die, Even thought I was an angel But time is a measurement for death My time pours out like water through the Large cracks in a vase. I feel the end.
