We Are His Body Poem from: Faith Collection
Winning the Lost at all cost, Pushing back the darkness, Is the name of the game Some think we’re crazy, Maybe being abandoned to Christ Qualifies us - insane
Reaching into the shadows, To touch those who are in need, Going deeper into the darkness, And planting the gospel’s seed
A lighthouse that is burning, Shining the way to sanctuary in the night, A sword that is swirling, warming Cold souls and fighting midnight frights
A hand outstretched offering Healing and restoration A heart pounding passionately To see the sinners reconciliation
This is our race, and our inheritance This is by Grace, and not our achievements.
We are His Body
