Hair Color: Got a sweet bald dome
Favorites:
Book- Everything Ray Bradbury, but
The Illustrated Man takes number one.
Food- What ever it is my wife puts
on the table tonight. (yeah I'm no rookie)
Place to vacation- Home,
California. Oroville California. Once I move back there, this will
change, I'm sure. Seattle is pretty sweet too.
Music- Rock, Pop, R&B, Emo,
Classic, Opera (only when watching live concerts)...just about
everything, except (unfortunately) no country, well almost- as long as
it doesn't sound twangy.
Restaurant- Le Mesa. But I also
love Gambuchi's - it is the place I proposed to my wife...then they
moved out of town.
Movie- Believe it or not, Gandhi.
I'm not sure why, but I seen it when I was about twelve years old and I
it made a big impact on me. First time I had seen that kind willingness
to suffer for a cause. Maybe it was because it was the first adult movie
my Mom let me watch, or the pizza...don't really know.
Who inspired me? That's a
great question. I didn't read much outside of the Bible growing up. My
mother made me and my younger brother read five chapters on the Bible a
day. I am not complaining at all. Those years really put a lot into me,
gave me spiritual and literary understanding and foundation. BUT, when I
was in 9th grade, going to Oroville High school, a girl named Sara, (A
girl I walked home with for two years) gave me Ray Bradbury's The
Illustrated Man. I was taken quickly and fell in love with Creative
writing, particularly short fiction. And from that I fell in love with
all kinds of literary art.
